Reflexology

Reflexology is a compression technique applied to specific reflexes on hand and feet. Pressure in one zone will affect the part of the body to which it relates. Tenderness to certain reflexes is an indication of congestion in the system. As the congestion breaks up, wastes are carried to the proper organs of elimination. Circulation improves as tension is reduced and the body normalizes its rhythmus.

Auricular Therapy

Auricular therapy is integrates Western and Chinese theories of health as balance and equilibrium. The use of the ear is based on the rich and the multiple connections which it has on the central nervous system. The shape of the body is projected into the ear and every point of the body corresponds to a point of the ear. In a healthy person the link is not apparent but when there is an imbalance of the physiological equilibrium it's point of projection in the ear becomes painful.
The therapist then stimulates the painful points of the ear by massage or cauterization.
What are the benefits of Auricular and Feet therapy?
  1. Activates the meridian which regulated energy flow
  2. Stimulates the internal organs
  3. Improves the circulation in general
  4. Aids in the flow of the lymphatic system
  5. Induces deep relaxation
  6. Stimulates the brain
  7. Improves the immune system as prevention measure
Treatments are usually a combination of ear (auricular) and foot reflexology.

Reiki

Reiki is a natural healing technique. It is the flow of a certain high frequency of energy into and through practitioner to another person. A treatment creates a wonderful radiance that is deeply relaxing. Reiki can also be used to relieve stress and overcome unwanted habits.

Psychosomatic Therapy

Psychosomatic Therapy is a technique of assessing the body/mind communication and its affect on the structural alignment of the human body. This assessment is then used to identify the reasons to why a person has shifted out of balance. By working the physical body, this allows the energy to flow, and the balance to be restored. By analyzing the condition of the body (shape, size, tissue and any contorting of the structure) the emotional past of the person can be revealed. "It's not the obstacles in front of us that keep us moving forward, but what is inside of us that holds us back. The issues are in the tissues.".

Tui Na (Chinese) Massage

Tui Na is a body work therapy that was developed in China 2000 years ago. It works with the energy system in the body, known as the meridian system. Tui Na utilizes acupressure points to work with the Qi (Chi) energy of the client to bring a balanced state of health, allowing the body to naturally heal itself. In a typical session the client, wearing loose clothing and no shoes, lies on the massage table. It is not especially useful for those seeking a mild, sedating and relaxing massage, since it tends to be more task focused than other types of body work.

  • The tendency toward toxicity in the body and which organ systems are responsible for that toxicity.
  • The tendency of hardening of the arteries and a high cholesterol level.
  • Basic personality tendencies, such as introversion/extroversion, etc.
  • General stress level and adrenal fatigue.
  • Tendency toward bowel conditions: Diverticulosis, Prolapsus, Spastic Bowel, etc.
